As most of you know, Nancy was the recipient of the Dr. A.C. McGugan Prize, awarded to the student by her peers for her contribution to the welfare of her fellow students.  A very deserving award for Nancy.  Those of us who were by her side during her fight against this devastating disease (breast cancer) were in awe of her strength.  her sincere caring of others around her and the effect her journey may have on them was her prime concern.  Nancy often talked about the strenght she received from her nursing classmates at the 30 year reunion when she disclosed her health issues.  She appreciated all your calls and letters.  At Nancy's request Lynda, Sue, Joan, Vicy and Judy were Honorary Pallbearers at her funeral.  She is deeply missed.
